Haven Of Peace Home Education Academy

The Academy was born with the inspiration of this theme scripture in Isaiah 54:13 (NKJV) “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be their peace of your children.”

A haven is a harbor, a place of safety; a refuge. It is a place one would run to when in need of safety. We called the academy the Haven of Peace because we felt it’s a place offering a favorable opportunity and conducive environment where both the parents and the children would come to and find a place of peace, safety, and calmness to be able to educate their children. We live in a world that is full of unrest and uncertainties. We need to find rest in God!

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe! Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV).

As a high school teacher and having been involved with the ACE curriculum since 2003, both in a school setting and as a home-schooling mum, I have come to appreciate the significant impact and effect parents home-schooling their own children have. And now more so considering the state of effect this world and its systems have in influencing our children. My husband and I are fully persuaded that home-schooling is one opportunity God has given parents to instill both academic and our Christian values when our children are young, and when they grow, they will not depart.

And what better curriculum than ACE! Accelerated Christian Education, a biblically based, self-instructional curriculum that allows students to learn at their own pace. The program divides core subjects into bite-sized workbooks called PACEs and integrates Christian values into all academic instruction. It is widely used in private Christian schools and homeschooling networks globally, including across Kenya

In December 2020, Haven of Peace was born. We have since seen a growth with many parents joining our academy and experiencing the joy of working with their children and many more registering.
