We offer the following services in collaboration with the AEE group and ICCE and we are awaiting full registration by the Ministry of Education, Kenya.
General Services
- Managing the Home School Academy through liaison with AEE, the Ministry of Education (when needed) as well as other relevant institutions.
- The completion of the Annual Internal Audit as requested by AEE for the Academy to stay on track and focused.
- Managing a sound financial system.
- Providing home schools with an annual calendar with important, relevant dates.
- Moderation visit schedules.
- Resource library service.
- Annual newsletter.
- Field trips/outings.
- Annual prize giving.
- Act as a liaison between the home school and AEE.
Specific Services
The Home School Academy acts as the Principal of the home schools that are hosted by Haven Of Peace. We render a supportive and quality assurance service on behalf of AEE. This may include some or all of the following (depending on the specific needs of each home school):
- Academic diagnosis of students.
- Training of prospective home school parents.
- Assistance with the application for registration as a home school.
- Assistance in setting up a Master Record system and Cumulative Record Folder for each child.
- Receive PACE orders from individual home schools and collate them into one big order that is sent to AEE for processing and delivery to the Academy from where it is then distributed to each home school.
- Assistance with Annual Statistics and applications for Certificates from ICCE.
- Registration of students for the AASC (All Africa Student Convention).
- Academic Projections for home school students.
- Applications for Exit Qualification Certificates.
- Decision making around the Exit Qualification Options available for children who home school on the ACE curriculum.
Registration Process
To register for ACE in Kenya, one must first register with AEE group. AEE is the distributing agent for the Accelerated Christian Education Programme (A.C.E.) in Africa and Scandinavian countries.

Thereafter AEE Group has appointed Haven of Peace Home academy to administrate the services AEE provides in Kenya. Therefore, one also must register with Haven of Peace in Kenya. The registration details for Haven of Peace home academy are available on the link below.

It is not illegal provided you are under a registered academy for example, in our case, we are registered with AEE.
The best age to start with your child on the ACE curriculum is five years.
Not necessarily. One can use even a dining table to work with the child provided the child is comfortable and there is enough lighting and no distractions.
It should start within just two weeks. The two weeks are for getting the necessary curriculum materials.
At the comfort of the home as the diagnostic tests are available online.
It is much cheaper than conventional schooling, however, one of the parents will have to forego a regular job in order to be with the child.
Like with any application to a university, regardless from which school your graduated with their Grade 12, it remains the prerogative of the said University which students they admit or not. You will have to contact the university of your choice to find out what their minimum requirements are for the direction/field in which your child wants to study.
